At present, most of the casings of portable electric heaters are made of flame-retardant polypropylene materials. In recent years, all electric heaters with large plastic materials in the housing, machine housing, fan blades and all other structural elements in the housing, temperature control, overheating temperature control protection, switches, etc. have been separated for safe and reliable use of the equipment .
At present, the main method of flame retardant polypropylene is to add additive flame retardants, most of which are synergistic systems of halogen flame retardants and antimony compounds. However, PP flame-retardant with this system has some disadvantages, notably the formation of toxic compounds, corrosive gases and fumes during combustion or pyrolysis (even high temperature processing). In view of the requirements of environmental protection, the call for non-halogenated flame retardants is getting higher and higher, and halogen-free flame retardant PP is on the rise.
Flame retardant polypropylene has good heat resistance, excellent chemical stability and is not affected by temperature. Flame retardant PP, environmentally friendly, has good shake resistance, can be repeatedly folded in half without damage, and can be easily molded to reduce customer costs. Various products can be formed by various methods such as injection molding, extrusion molding, and blow molding.
With the development of plastic modification technology and the improvement of people's living standards, electric heaters using modified plastics are widely used in the home appliance industry, especially small home appliances, kitchen utensils, personal care and other products.
